Commercial Steel Footing of Choice
Surefoot used for solar carports in Australia
Effectively spreading foundations over a greater surface area to achieve larger load capacities, the Surefoot concrete free footing system is revolutionising the way the commercial sector is building. Offering a quick, cost-effective installation process, this steel foundation can be found supporting and stabilising mining camps, offices, hospitals, schools and accommodation buildings throughout Europe, Australia and the U.S.
Surefoot in the Valencian Mountains, Spain
Working with the Vivood Group in the Valencian mountains, Spain, Surefoot’s revolutionary hybrid foundation was used to install hundreds of footings for an eco-resort hotel. With construction taking place on an eco-sensitive site, the use of concrete footings was ruled out by the local council. The sustainable Surefoot steel pile cap system was subsequently chosen for its ability to maintain the integrity of the terraced valley, as well as negotiate both rock and hard soil environments. Surefoot provided the footings for 25 modular suites, a bar, a restaurant, reception and several auxiliary buildings. The entire project took less than six weeks to be completed.
High Spec Kindergarten in London
For projects with limited access sites, the ease and mobility of the Surefoot concrete free footing system is a smart choice. It can easily navigate construction sites that would present challenges to traditional foundation systems. Surefoot steel pile caps were used to secure a high-quality modular building for a high spec kindergarten in Central London. Negotiating the suburban environment, poor access and tree roots were simple for Surefoot, as the need for concrete delivery and heavy lifting equipment was eliminated. The footings were installed in record time, and the building was craned onto the footings to finish.
